Sarah Wheeler received her nursing degree from Yale University School of Nursing. She has worked as a doula. During her own pregnancy, she received midwifery care that led to a career overhaul that led to her becoming a certified nurse midwife. She believes in shared decision making with her patients and focuses her practice on OB-GYN care across a woman’s lifespan. She has special interests in breastfeeding, pre- and post-natal fitness.

Sarah's background includes theater, interpersonal/relational communications and creative writing.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys exploring all that San Antonio has to offer while spending time with her husband, four children and two border collies.
