About

Prior to joining CHRISTUS Children’s, Dr. Lee served as Chair and Professor of the Department of Neurosurgery at West Virginia University. Previously, he was Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, and Allen Distinguished Chair in Neurosurgery and Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Medical College of Georgia.

He obtained both his medical degree and a doctorate degree in neurobiology at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, completed residency training and pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at New York University, as well as an epilepsy surgery fellowship at Medical College of Georgia. He earned a master’s degree in business administration at the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business. Dr. Lee is board-certified in both neurosurgery and pediatric neurosurgery. He has been included annually among the listings of Best Doctors in America and America’s Top Doctors.

Dr. Lee’s hobbies include reading, fitness and finance.
